Honored on Birthday

St. Williams: William Trickett, born at Port Rowan, son of Albert Trickett, who married Arminda Johnson in 1899 at Langton Baptist parsonage, celebrated his 74th birthday here Friday evening.  Guests included William's one living brother, Chauncey Trickett and wife of Port Rowan.

Mr. and Mrs. William Trickett had eight children, all living:
Mrs. Bert Newkirk of St. Catharines,
George Trickett of Princeton,
Mrs. Isaac Roulston of St. Anne's,
Mrs. Roy Mandley of Dunnville,
Frank Trickett of Port Dover,
Mrs. Arthur Heald, Miss Rosanna Trickett, and Harry Trickett, all of St. Williams.

There are also 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Grandson William Newkirk lost his life 28 Oct 1944 in World War 2.

Mr. Trickett retired following an injury to his legs received while employed at the Provincial Forestry Station, where he was employed for 18 years.
