Terry-Abel

A quiet wedding took place at 9 a.m. on 6 Apr 1920, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Abel of Silver Hill, when their eldest daughter, Jessie May, was united in marriage to Otho W. Terry, by the Rev. T. R. Clarke.

After all present had partaken of a dainty wedding breakfast, the newly married couple left for a short trip to points west.

On their return on Thursday evening about 100 of their friends from Silver Hill and Carholme met at the home of the bride's parents and tendered them a shower.

The young people were made the recipients of many costly and beautiful presents for use in their new home near Vittoria.
