OBITUARY

TAYLOR -- At his residence in South Middleton, on March 24, 1912 John Taylor passed away at the age of 7[9] years 1 month 6 days. 

Bro. Taylor, when about nine years of age, came from Kendal, England with his parents, who settled in Newport, Brantford township, Brant County. His father died when John was 14 years of age, and the cares and responsibilities at that time rested upon him as the oldest.

In 1862 he married Annie Barrett, by which union there were six children of whom four survive him. In 1879 he moved to Middleton township, Norfolk county. In January 1892 his beloved wife died. The children who survive him are Geo. Wesley, of Lynedoch, John, on the homestead; Mrs. Samuel Stage and Mrs. Walter Fisher, all of South Middleton.

He married again in May, 1902 to Annie Duncan, who survives him.
