A lightly edited partial transcription of the Delhi Happenings column on page 8 of the 15 Apr 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer.

The marriage took place on Wednesday, 7 Apr 1920, in the Pine Grove Baptist parsonage, of George Benson Taylor of Charlotteville to Miss Emma G. Colwell of Charlotteville. Rev. Henry Crickington officiated.

The bride looked charming wearing a pretty dress of blue silk, while Miss Helen Taylor, who acted as bridesmaid, wore a becoming dress of grey taffeta. Wm. Colwell supported the groom.
