Death of Mrs. Sweet

We are sorry to record the sad and sudden death of Mrs. Sweet, which took place at 5 a.m. on Tuesday. The deceased had been very sick all winter, but slowly recovered sufficiently to be able to be out of bed and doing a little work. Suddenly on Monday before her death, a turn for the worse came and in her weakened condition the afflicted succumbed.

It is peculiarly sad because her daughter, Mrs. White, who visited her parents for a great part of the winter, had just returned a week or so ago to her home out in the Northwest, and also because the family were all packed up ready to move to Delhi.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved husband and family.

The funeral takes place this afternoon at 2 o'clock.

OBITUARY
MRS. W. H. SWEET

We are sorry to record the sad and sudden death of Mrs. Walter H. Sweet, in Waterford, formerly of Simcoe, which took place on Tuesday morning, April 26th. The deceased had been very sick all winter, but slowly recovered sufficiently to be able to be out of bed and doing a little work. Suddenly on Monday before her death, a turn for the worse came and in her weakened condition she succumbed.

It is peculiarly sad because her daughter, Mrs. White, who visited her parents for a great part of the winter, had just returned a week or so ago to her home out in the Northwest, and also because the family were all packed up ready to move to Delhi.

The deceased was in her 52nd year, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Watt, of Grimsby. Her father predeceased her some years ago.

Mrs. Sweet was esteemed and respected by all who knew her, and when in her health, always was willing to lend her valued services to the sick room. She was a member of the Baptist church.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved husband and family.
