Mrs. G. B. Lynn

Port Rowan: The death of Mrs. G. B. Lynn occurred at her home in Brantford on Tuesday after a brief illness in her 87th year.

Deceased, whose maiden name was Sarah Jane Streeter, was born in Forestville, and was the daughter of the late David Streeter and Mary Spencer.

She married Charles Phillips of Port Rowan, who predeceased her 37 years ago. She was a resident of Port Rowan until her second marriage to G. B. Lynn of Brantford, where she went to live 28 years ago, and resided there until the time of her death.

She was a good friend and kind neighbour to a wide circle of friends both in Port Rowan and Brantford, and was very active until the time of her brief illness.

Surviving are one son, Charles Phillips of Brantford, and one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Moore of Port Rowan; four brothers, Ernest, Drastus, John and Jesse, all of Forestville; and four sisters, Mrs. Nettie Pick of Lima, Ohio, Dr. Myrtabel Lewis, Pasadena, Calif., Mrs Jennie Grant and Mrs. Bert Schram of Forestville.

There are also eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Flossie Walker, Toledo, Ohio, predeceased her in 1937.

The funeral service was conducted from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Moore, Wolven St., Port Rowan, on Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m.
