Sudden Death

On Saturday afternoon Mrs. James Storey died suddenly at her residence, Victoria street, in the 52nd year of her age.

Mr. Storey was mowing the lawn and Mrs. Storey was attending to some flowers, when she was seen wavering.

Her husband ran and caught her and prevented her from falling. With the the assistance of Mr. Lemon, who was working nearby, she was carried into the house. She lived for about two hours but never regained consciousness.

Dr. Richardson, who was immediately sumoned, pronouned the cause of death apoplexy.

She leaves her husband, one son and one daughter to mourn her demise.

The funeral took place on Monday afternoon to Oakwood cemetery. The family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their sudden bereavement.
