The funeral
of the late Jonathan B. Smith, who died Sunday, 8 Feb 1920, at the
residence of his daughter, Mrs. James Challand of Woodhouse, was
held yesterday afternoon to Mount Zion Cemetery.
Deceased was
in his 90th year and had been a successful Townsend farmer. Since
the death of his wife he had made his home with his children.
He leaves
four sons and one daughter: Byron and Harry of Michigan, Carl and
George of Townsend, and Lola, wife of Mr. James Challand,
Woodhouse.
