A lightly edited partial transcription of the Items of Local Interest column on page 7 of the 
5 Feb 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper. 

Edith, eldest daughter of the late Kinsley and Sarah Shaw, died at her home, 
380 Norfolk Street North, on Saturday, 
1 Jan 1920 in her 41st year, after an illness extending over some six years.

Deceased was ex-deaconess of 
Centenary Church, Hamilton, and 
Broadway Tabernacle, Toronto.

Her survivors are a sister, Miss Aletha, at home, and a half brother, James Shaw of Townsend.

The funeral was held from her late residence on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, to Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford, for interment, the services being in charge of Rev. Mr. Sheppardson.
