Etc. -- George J. Ryerse Marriage Register

Elder George Joseph Ryerse of Woodhouse Township in the London District, himself a son of a Long Point Settlement pioneer, married the children of many early settlers between 1831 and 1857, and dutifully recorded each in his Marriage Register.

The Register survives and a transcript was published in the 14 Mar 1901 and 21 Mar 1901 issues of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

The Reformer's transcript was the basis for dozens of entries in this index. Each index entry copied from Geo. J. Ryerse's Marriage Register ends with the index code [GJR].
