The Late David Rusling

Mrs. David Rusing wishes to thank her many friends for their kindness and sympathy during her sad bereavement in the loss of her husband, who died 13 Jan 1913.

David Rusing leaves a wife, four sons, J. W. Rusling,
D. W. Rusling, S. P. Rusling of Boston, A. L. Rusling of Buffalo, and a daughter Mrs. Marshall Porter of Rockford, to mourn the loss of a kind and indulgent husband and father.

He was born in Simcoe on 7 Jul 1829. When a young man he learned the blacksmith trade and came to Boston, where he has resided ever since.

He was a staunch liberal, of a quiet and modest disposition and never aspired for any public office. He was a member of the Boston Baptist Church having joined in his early days, and has been a constant and worthy supporter ever since.
