Mrs. Henry Rice

The death of Mary [sic] Elizabeth beloved wife of Henry Rice, occurred at her home, Glen Meyer, on Saturday, Oct. 1st, after an illness of two years duration, being extremely helpless the last year.

The deceased was sixty-nine years of age, and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dreyer, being born at Camfield, moving to Bayham township with her parents where she resided until her marriage fifty years ago to Henry Rice of Glen Meyer.

She leaves to mourn a husband, seven sons, Jessie of Hagersville, Philip of Tillsonburg, George of Lyons, Peter of Walsingham, 
Jacob of Saskatchewan, John at home and James of Delhi, 
four daughters, Miss Adson of St. Thomas, Mrs. M. Ker of Brownsville, Mrs. Earl Brooks of Springfield and Mrs. Geo. Mabee of Middleton.

The  funeral which was held on Monday, October 3rd, was conducted by F. P. Emmons.
