MORTUARY
----
Mrs. James Read

Mrs. James Read of Lynedoch, died suddenly on Tuesday, September 6th, in her 62nd year.

Miss May Read, daughter of the deceased lady, returned from her school where she is a teacher, about four o'clock, and found her mother lying a few feet from the house, dead.

When last seen alive Mrs. Read was apparently as well as usual, and it is believed she was in the act of going to the pump when death seized her. Her late husband predeceased her by about seven years.

Those who are left to mourn the loss of their mother, are Miss Hattie, Toronto; Miss May, at home, and Russel, of Revelstoke, B. C.

The funeral was held at Lynedoch on Thursday of last week.
