COOKE-PRATT

A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnized at the Methodist Church in Courtland on
23 Oct 1919, when Miss Janie Pratt, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Pratt, was united in marriage to Mr. Reginald Cooke,
a returned soldier of Simcoe.

The church was prettily decorated with flowers and ferns. The bride wore a brown silk dress with hat and coat to match.
The ceremony was performed by
Rev. Mr. Remington, in the presence of about 30 relatives.

After the ceremony all went to the bride's home where a dainty lunch was served.
Mr. and Mrs. Cooke left on the afternoon train for Toronto and Kingston, and on their return will reside in Simcoe.
