Norfolk researcher Robert Mutrie points out that Warren and John were born just six years apart, so Warren is unlikely to be John's father as Old Woodhouse Church [OWC] claims. Mills -- John Mills son of Warren Mills and Adora E. Pepper, born about 1848, died 5 Jan 1896. Buried Old Woodhouse Church [OWC] -- John Mills, 51, died suddenly 5 Jan 1896 in Charlotteville [SR18960109] Mills -- Warren Mills, 59, died 12 Apr 1901 in Charlotteville [SR19010418] -- Warren Mills, husband of Adora E. Pepper, born 1842, died 1901, buried Old Woodhouse Church [OWC] As pointed out in Other Sources, OWC's churchyard cemetery list is a modern creation, not a historical transcription and as such may contain errors. |
