Little Boy Drowned

George Durward Brien [sic], the little two-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brien [sic] of North Townsend, met his death by drowning, Friday night last.

The little chap was playing about the garden where his mother was working. Sudden she missed him.

Search revealed his lifeless body lying down in a water trough containing a few inches of water.

The mother, who before her marriage lived in Simcoe as Miss Katherine [sic] Murphy, has the sympathy of many friends in the Baptist Church here, of which she was a member.
