A lightly edited partial transcription of the Items of Local Interest column on page 12 of the 2 Oct 1919 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

The funeral of Charles M. Moe took place Monday morning from [40] Main Street west to Hamilton Cemetery.

Rev. Dr. R. J. Treleaven officiated.

The pall-bearers were R[..] Moe, J. D. Moe, J. W. Moe, C. Wooley [sic], Lewis Lawrason and Fred Lawrason. There were many floral offerings.

Deceased was a son of John W. and Sophia A. Moe, his mother a daughter of the late Joseph Lawrason of Windham.

Mr. James W. Moe of Simcoe is a brother, Mrs. Charles E. Woolley of Charlotteville, a sister, Mrs. Charles McCall, an aunt, and Miss Ethel Matthews, a cousin.
