Death of Henry Misener [sic]

The people of this place were surprised to hear of the sudden death of Mr. Henry Misner [sic] on Tuesday morning at the advanced age of 84 years.

Mr. Misener [sic] was about as usual in the morning and attended to the horse in the barn., after which he ate a hearty breakfast. After breakfast he went to the barn to water his horse and upon returning sat down in a chair and talked to his little granddaughter.

Mrs. Misner [sic] was working in the room at the time and in looking around noticed the Mr. Misner [sic] was leaning back in his chair and upon looking a second time discovered that something was wrong. She went to him and found him dead. A doctor was summoned and he stated that the cause of death was old age.

Mr. Misner [sic] was born in Woodhouse, where he resided for a number of years. He then purchased a farm near Cheapside, where he lived for 18 years, and then moved back to Woodhouse. He came to Waterford about three years ago to live with his son.

Mr. Misener's [sic] father lived to be nearly 100 years old and his cousin, Uncle Adam Misener [sic], is now 103 years old.

The funeral takes place tomorrow at 12. Services will be held in Mt. Zion church, Renton.
