Death of Mrs. S. L. Squire

The death of Mrs. S. L. Squire took place on Tuesday evening after a illness of over two years. Her suffering during all these months was borne with wonderful patience and fortitude and even during the last few hours her thoughts were for the welfare of friends surrounding her.

The parting will never be forgotten by the few friends who were called in at her request to bid her farewell. Her mind was perfectly clear all day Tuesday and she spoke words of comfort to the loved ones about her. The end was quiet and peaceful, in fact she just slept away.

She died as only a Christian can die, in the sure and certain hope of a glorious resurrection. She had an exceptional disposition, was loved by all and her aim in life seemed to be to comfort and minister to others.

Mrs. Squire was the eldest and only surviving daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. McMichael, and besides them leaves a husband and Harold to mourn the lost of a loving daughter, wife and mother, because no boy ever had a better mother than Harold, she having cared for him since infancy.

She also leaves a large circle of sorrowing friends, who shall ever cherish the memory of her loving deeds on earth.

The funeral will be held from her late residence on Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
