THE LATE MRS. McKENZIE

Death has claimed another well-known Norfolk woman in the person of Mrs. Mary McKenzie, who passed away at the home of John Peddle, Concession 9 of Charlotteville, on 8 Dec 1919.

Deceased came to this country from Scotland about 56 years ago with her husband and two children. Her husband predeceased her 37 years ago. The late Mrs. McKenzie was in her 82nd year.

The funeral was held 10 Dec 1919 and was conducted by Rev. Mr. Crickington, from the home of Mr. Peddle. Interment was made at Salem Cemetery.

Four children survive:
John McKenzie of Blayney,
Mrs. Frank Misner of Windham,
George McKenzie of Ruscomb, and
Charles McKenzie of Niagara Falls, N.Y.

Of late years the deceased had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Peddle, by whom she was tenderly cared for until the summons came which called her to her final rest.
