PNEUMONIA FATAL TO MRS. LEASK

Mrs. Clara Leask, wife of Arthur Leask (eldest son of the late Jas. Leask, Norfolk County, Canada) died yesterday afternoon at her home on Carlton Avenue, after a short illness of pneumonia.

Her young daughter, Elaine, is also critically ill, having contracted the disease five days ago.

Mrs. Leask was born at Stapleton, Staten Island. Previous to her marriage she was Miss Clara Fink. She and Mr. Leask were married in Jersey City and they removed here 12 years ago.

For a time the family lived on Jackson Avenue, North Plainfield, and afterwards removed to Carlton avenue. Mrs. Leask was an attendant at the Watchung Avenue Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the various departments of work. She had a large circle of friends and acquaintances, all of whom will learn with deep regret of her death.

Besides her husband there survive two small children, Hilda and Elaine, her father, Alexander Fink, who lives at Avenel, near Rahway, and one sister, Mrs. Angus Cowan of Westminister, N.Y.

The funeral will be held at the late home tomorrow afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Rev. J. O. McKelvey of the Watchung Avenue Presbyterian Church, will officiate and burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
