The following photograph scan of Mrs. Clara Sanderson Laub and newspaper article regarding a presentation she made, was contributed 18 Jan 2009 by Louise McCollow of Tillsonburg, Ontario. Louise reports Clara was the youngest daughter of Charles Sanderson, the youngest child of William and Eliza Sanderson. William and Eliza's eldest child was John B. Sanderson, Louise's great-great grandfather.
From the 9 Mar 1916 Simcoe Reformer, Port Rowan Personals on page 5:
"Mrs. Clara Sanderson Laub delivered a fine recruiting address in the Princess Theatre last Friday night to an audience of over 400 people. Mrs. Laub is a fluent speaker and as she related thrilling incidents of her experience during fourteen months being the firing line in France and Flanders the attention she received was intense and the desire to hear her again is universal. A good collection was taken up for the Red Cross. J. L. Buck was chairman."
