A lightly edited partial transcription of the Kelvin column on page 2 of the 9 Oct 1919 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

The funeral services of the late Mrs. Isaac Jarvis of Teeterville, a former resident of this village, were conducted on Wednesday afternoon in the Free Methodist Church, by Rev. Mr. Stevenson of Kelvin, assisted by Rev. Mr. Freeman of Burford. 

The funeral was largely attended. Deceased was a member of the Free Methodist Church for a number of years.

She leaves to mourn her demise two daughters, namely Mrs. T. Slaght of Lockport, N.Y., and Mrs. Elijah Graves of Teeterville, and several grandchildren; also one sister, Mrs. R. McCombs of Vanessa, who will have the sympathy of the whole community in their bereavement.

The remains were taken to Northfield Centre Cemetery for interment.
