SILVER HILL

A very quiet but pretty wedding took place on Saturday, 20 Mar 1920, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Gilkes, when their only daughter, Miss Sadie, became the bride of Ray Masecar [sic] of Lynedoch.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Clarke of Walsh, in the presence of the immediate relatives.

The bride looked charming in a dress of sand-colored silk, trimmed in beads and sequin, with coat and hat to match.

The happy couple drove to Simcoe and took the afternoon train for Detroit. We wish them a prosperous and happy married life.
