Dr. Gilbert dead
at Bay City
On Monday
Albert Gilbert of Woodhouse received a telegram from his youngest
brother, Frank, announcing the death in Bay City, Michigan of Dr. Harvey
Gilbert, second son of the late John Gilbert of Woodhouse.
Deceased was educated at the
Simcoe schools, studied medicine here and then went to Bay City,
where he practiced up until recently. He was in his 75th year.
He is survived by one daughter
and by his widow, who was born Ida Beemer. Her father was William, of
Colborne. Older residents will remember his tragic death, a generation
ago.
