A lightly edited partial transcription of the South Middleton column on page 11 of the 4 Mar 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

The people of this place were greatly shocked to hear of the death of 
Mrs. W. N. Fisher, which occurred on Monday, 1 Mar 1920 from pneumonia.

The funeral service was conducted by 
Rev. E. Finch of Langton on Wednesday. Interment was made in the Baptist Cemetery.

Deceased, who was in her 45th year, was highly esteemed by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed, especially in church work, in which she was very much interested.

Besides her husband she leaves three  children: Hester, James and Erma, to mourn her loss.
