A Double Wedding

The marriage of Ilean Harriett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Evans of Woodhouse to Nathaniel Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Walker, also of Woodhouse, and Della Marie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Walkey [sic] of Woodhouse, to Hubert McCawill of Townsend, were solemnized at 8 a.m., 20 Oct 1919 in St. Mary's Church, Simcoe, by Rev. Chas. Nagle.

After the ceremony the happy couples left on the L. E. and N. car for Brantford, Niagara Falls, Toronto, and points east.
On returning, Mr. and Mrs. Nat Walker will reside on Mr. Walker's farm, Woodhouse, while Mr. and Mrs. Hubert McCawill will make their home in Townsend.

Best wishes are extended to the couples for a long prosperous voyage through life.

The music and singing by Mrs. W. E. Kelly was appreciated by those in attendance at the church.

On Friday evening, 17 Oct 1919, a variety shower was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Walker in honour of Della Walker and Hubert McCawill. Many beautiful and useful presents were received. After spending a pleasant evening with dancing and music, lunch was served.
