Alfred T. Cade

The funeral of Alfred Thomas Cade of Simcoe, whose death occurred suddenly at his home, 35 King Street, on Tuesday morning, in his 82nd year, was held from the MacGregor funeral home on Thursday at three o'clock.

Rev. Norman W. Pipe of Bethel Baptist Church was in charge of the service which was largely attended by many relatives, friends and neighbors.

The profusion of floral tributes signified the respect in which deceased was held in Simcoe and the surrounding district where he had made his home for many years.

Among the tokens were pieces from 
Bethel Baptist Church, 
Employees of British Knitwear, Ltd., 
and the British Knitwear, Ltd. 
Relatives were present from Jarvis, Waterford and Port Dover.

The pallbearers were Thomas Tyrrell, 
C. W. Pond, Alfred Gurr, Ralph Lane, Gordon Meade and Charles Mead. Interment was made in Oakwood Cemetery.
