A lightly edited partial transcription of the Langton column on page 8 article in the 8 Apr 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

LANGTON

The death occurred on Sunday of Samuel Boyd at the home of his nephew, Guy McDonald.

The deceased had been in bed five weeks suffering from falling through the barn floor while doing chores.

Owing to his advanced age of 79 years he was unable to withstand the shock.

The funeral took place on Tuesday, interment at Knowles Cemetery.

He is survived by two brothers and two sisters, John of Straffordville, Nathaniel of Langton, Mrs. Jane Grey and Mrs. Hessie Burbridge of Toronto.
