A lightly edited partial transcription the Port Rowan column on page 2 of the 3 Jun 1920 issue 
of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

PORT ROWAN

Daniel Biddle died at his home at Rowan Mills on Monday of this week at the age 
of 84 years, and was buried in Franklin Cemetery on Wednesday.

He married Miss Martha Billington, who predeceased him several years ago. Deceased leaves four sons to mourn his loss, also two brothers.

The late Mr. Biddle was a brother of the late C. Biddle, at one time one of our leading citizens.

He was well known and highly respected in our village and was one of the most prosperous farmers in South Walsingham.

The immediate cause of his death was pneumonia.
