Cooper-Bannister

The home of Mr. Henry Bannister of Townsend was the scene of a very happy event on Saturday, 11 Oct 1919, when his daughter, Martha Pearl, became the happy wife of William Cooper of Brantford.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. B. Moore of Waterford. The wedding march was played by Miss Alice McKerlie.

The bride was most suitably attired and was given away by her brother and attended by Miss Mary Welch and the groom by Mr. Carl Nelles.

After the marriage a delightfully prepared dinner was served and then the happy couple amid showers of confetti and rice boarded the Michigan Central train for Brantford and other points.

We congratulate Mr.Cooper on finding such a Pearl. -- Waterford Star.
