CORN COMPETITION

On Friday and Saturday last, Mr. E. J. Mullins of Essex County visited Norfolk to judge the 12 fields of corn entered in the Standing Corn Competition held under the auspices of the Norfolk County Fair. 
Mr. Mullins placed the winners as follows:

1st -- Lorne Forest of Windham, 95 per cent
2nd -- W. C. Everett of Woodhouse, 91 per cent
3rd -- W. A. Butler of Windham, 90 per cent
4th -- Alonzo McKnight of Charlotteville, 88 per cent
5th -- L. A. Everett of Charlotteville, 87 per cent
6th -- Percy Potts of Woodhouse, 86 per cent
7th -- Benson Hall of Charlotteville, 85 per cent
