A lightly edited transcription of a page 3 item in the 24 Oct 1918 Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

After an illness of several days from pneumonia caused by the influenza, Mr. Wyatt Youmans died early last Sunday morning at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, and was brought here for interment on Tuesday, the funeral being held from the Air Line Station directly to Oakwood Cemetery.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bert Youmans and Miss May Youmans, and a brother, Mr. Herbert Youmans of Rockford, Ill.

His father, Mr. Joseph Youmans, died a year ago, and his mother about seven years ago.

Rev. Mr. Moir was the officiating clergyman..
