A quiet wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wyckoff last Saturday morning when their only child, Miss Lillian Wyckoff married Mr. Clarence Wiederick [sic] of Woodhouse, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wiederick [sic] of Haldimand County.

The officiating clergyman was Rev. J. W. Kitching of Vittoria, a former minister of the bride and groom. There were no attendants and the guests were confined to only a few near relatives of the contracting parties.

After a wedding repast, Mr. and Mrs. Weiderick [sic] left for a honeymoon to eastern points and upon their return will live in Woodhouse.

[Compiler's Comment: groom's surname was Wedrick.]
