A lightly edited partial transcript of Walsingham column on page 11 of 31 May 1917 Simcoe Reformer.

Wallace Wingrove passed away on the 26 May 1917, after an illness of three weeks. He was in his 66th year. 

He leaves a widow, Mary E., and two sons, G. A. Wingrove now in England hospital with wounds, 
and G. Fernley Wingrove of this place.

Four brothers and three sisters also survive him: Whitfield of this place, Henry of Kelvin, 
Melanchion of Seattle, Wilbur of Otterville, 
Mrs. D. Scott (Minnie) of Saskatchewan, 
Mrs. Charles Alexander (Sarah) and Miss Eliza of Langton.

The funeral was held at the house. Rev. Mr. Chapman 
had charge. Interment was made in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
