Celebrated Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Wallace (photos) celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding at the home of their daughter, Mrs. J. B. Clark, Sacramento, California on August 8th.

Shortly after their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace settled on the farm just north of Simcoe, now occupied by their son, J. Alex. Wallace, and there raised their family of seven children and they still remain an unbroken family circle.

The children are:
Mrs. C. H. Emerson of Toronto
R. B. Wallace, Los Angeles, Cal.,
Mrs. J. A. Lever, Windsor,
Mrs. R. W. E. Burnaby, Toronto,
J. Alex. Wallace, Simcoe,
Miss Margaret Wallace and Mrs. J. B. Clark, Sacramento.

Many letters of congratulations were received by Mr. and Mrs. Wallace from relatives and friends in Simcoe, Alymer, Windsor, Toronto, Jefferson and Los Angeles.

The golden wedding makes the sixth in the immediate family of Mrs. Wallace, two brothers and three sisters having preceded her past the half century mark of happy wedded life.
