Simcoe

Simcoe, July 6 -- Miss Isabel Waddle, sister of Mrs. John Goodland, who had been living in the Goodland home on Lynwood [sic] avenue since some time last year, after the death of Mr. Goodland, was found dead yesterday morning.

Deceased was in her 70th year, and apparently in good health. On the previous evening she had called on Mr. and Mrs. Robert Waddle, Norfolk Street south, and later on went over to Head St. north to call on Mrs. Porteus [sic] with whom she had spent an hour during the afternoon, in the park, and had made an arrangement
to go to Port Dover on the morrow by the 10.30 car.

Mrs. Goodland had not heard her sister coming in after her call on Mrs. Porteus [sic], and the shock was quite servere.
