A lightly edited partial transcription of the Items of Local Interest column on page 12 of the 
10 Nov 1910 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

By the death of an uncle in Montreal, Lawrence H. Tasker of New York, formerly of Hamilton, and Miss [Lena] Tasker of Mount Forest inherit [$50,000,000].

Mr. Tasker was formerly principal of the Tillsonburg High School, and wrote the first book published by the Ontario Historical Society, entitled "The United Empire Loyalist Settlement at Long Point."

The book almost entirely deals with Norfolk.
