Death has again visited this place and taken away Miss Jennie Swift, daughter of Daniel Swift, but who has made her home since childhood with her uncle, Mr. Geo. Swift.

She was a very bright and promising young woman of 16 years of age, and her death cause a sense of sadness to be felt over the community.

She had been sick with typhoid fever and death came as a result on Sunday morning.

The funeral took place on Monday afternoon from their residence to Hartford Cemetery.
