Family Reunion

Labor Day was made the occasion of a very pleasant family reunion at the picturesque homestead of Mr. and Mrs. James Shildrick on Monday last.

Mr. Shildrick is one of Hagerville's most successful business men and as such leads a very busy life, but he never allows the cares incidental to mercantile life to interfere with the cultivation of those social qualities which have so much to do with the making of a happy home.

No one enjoys a chat with an old friend like he; few men greet an old acquaintance with readier welcome, but he is never so happy as when surrounded by the boys and girls who made the home bright in the days that memory loves to recall.

On Monday the whole family circle was gathered beneath the rooftree, and a most enjoyable time was spent.

Dr. E. H. Shildrick and wife were there from North Royalton, Ohio;
Edgar and wife from Waterford; and
Ernest came up from Toronto.
Frank, with his wife and family, Miss Laura and Master Hal completed the group.
