Weddings
Shafer-Harvey
At 5 o'clock last
evening, Mrs. Mary Scott Harvey, elder daughter of Mrs. Robert
Scott, was united in marriage to Mr. Leroy Kenneth Shafer of
Brantford, Rev. David A. Moir conducting the ceremony.
The bride was attended
by her sister, Miss Eva M. Scott, and Mr. Claire R. Maxwell
supported the groom. Mr. Scott and Mr. Victor L. Scott of
Winnipeg, cousin of the bride, also signed the register.
After the ceremony, a
dainty supper was served to immediate friends and relatives at
the home of the bride's mother.
Later in the evening,
Mr. and Mrs. Shafer left by motor for Brantford, where there
will take up their residence.
