A lightly edited partial transcription of the Items of Interest column on page 16 of the 30 Jan 1919 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

One more of the County's links with the past snapped with the death of 
Mrs. Isabella Robbins [sic] of Windham 
on Saturday 25 Jan 1919.

She was born 13 July 1838 at Waterford. Her husband, the late Edward Robbins [sic], died about five years ago.

To them were born a number of children, of whom the following are left:
Gilbert, formerly of Simcoe, now of Saskatoon, Sask.;
John, also of Saskatoon;
George and Charles of Brantford;
Mrs. Bates, Mrs. Clara Hunter, 
Mrs. Bertha Ward, and Miss Edna, all of Windham.

Mr. Clayton Hunter of Windham is a grandson. Wm. Forse of Waterford is a brother of the deceased.

The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Taylor, Baptist minister of Teeterville, officiating. Interment was made [in] the Lynnville Cemetery.
