Obituary.

Henry Procunier's widow Frances died of cancer 31 Jul 1880 near Port Royal.

Born 9 Jun 1797 in Prince William, New Brunswick, she immigrated with her parents to Ontario in 1807, living first near Vittoria on the Walter Anderson estate, moving to south Walsingham in 1823. 

She married at 18, and had 10 children, six sons and for daughters, all living. A widow for 38 years, she died on her parents' homestead. 

Two sisters, ages 86 and 97, visited before she passed. They have a brother, age 94, in the State of Indiana. 

She was a founding member of the Baptist denomination at Port Rowan and a consistent member for 51 years. Her death leaves a sole survivor, the widow of Cornelius Dedrick.

She was buried beside her husband in the Baptist Cemetery at St. Williams.
