A lightly edited partial transcript of the Items of Interest column on page 10 of the 1 Aug 1918 
issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper

The funeral of the late Philo Price, who died at his home in Langton, was held from the residence of his son, 
Mr. C. M. Price, of 4o Karns Street, in St. Thomas, 
Rev. W. H Walt officiating.

During the service, Mrs. Pierce sang "God Will Watch Over Thee."

Besides his wife and son, the late Mr. Price is survived 
by a daughter, Mrs. H. Godby of St. Thomas, and a granddaughter, Miss Hazel Price of Tillsonburg.

Four sisters and on one brother, Miss R. Price, 
Mrs. Cairnes and Mrs. Pearson of St. Thomas, 
Mrs. Ellsworth of Buffalo, and Mr. A. Price of 
Bridgeburg, also survive.
