JOSEPHA CHARLOTTE PALMER

PORT DOVER -- Josepha Charlotte Palmer, who celebrated her 100th birthday on 
23 Feb 1965, died in Johnson Nursing Home, Port Dover.

The daughter of the late Dr. Henry Palmer and Margaret Tisdale, she was born in Caledonia, but moved to Vittoria when three years old.

She taught school in Norfolk and Haldimand counties for many years.

A member of Christ Church, Vittoria, she was treasurer of the Guild for many years and a life member of the Vittoria Women's Institute. She was an active Red Cross worker during the war.

She is resting in Thompson's Funeral Home, Port Dover. The funeral service will be held Monday at 2.30 p.m. from 
Christ Church, Vittoria. Rev. H. D. Herring of Port Rowan will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Woodhouse Township.
