A lightly edited item from page 7 of the 21 Nov 1918 issue of the  Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

L. A. Mitchener, B.A., principal of the Ridgetown Collegiate Institute, has been made public school inspector of Haldimand, in which county he formerly taught school at Selkirk and Caledonia.

He is a son of the late Henry J. Mitchener of Clear Creek, where he was born, and where he taught school for five years in early life.

He is a graduate of the Port Rowan High School.
