A lightly edited transcript of an article on page 1 of the 29 Sep 1910 issue of Waterford Star:

Died in New York

Spectator -- Word was received in Hamilton Monday of the death of Mrs. Lutes, wife of A. Lutes of the Right House.

Deceased had been in poor health for some time, and had gone to New York for treatment, but the relief hoped for was not obtained.

Mrs. Lutes was an active member of the James street Baptist church, and was well known and highly esteemed, and her death will be regretted by a host of friends.

The remains will be brought home for interment.

(Mrs. Lutes was a former resident of Boston. The remains were brought to Waterford yesterday for interment.)
