90th Birthday.

Those people who live to see 90 years of age are very few. On Monday evening, 1 Jul 1901, Mrs. Wm. McMichael celebrated her 90th birthday at the home of one of her daughters, Mrs. Oliver Beemer.

A very pleasant time was enjoyed by her children and grandchildren. All of her children were present except one. Mrs. McMichael is the mother of nine children, six boys and three girls, all of whom are living, and out of the nine children, seven are over 50 years of age.

Mrs. McMichael is one of the pioneers of old Norfolk. Her early days were spent in the Township of Charlotteville. She settled in Boston, Townsend Township, nearly 70 years ago.

Over 40 years ago she came to Waterford and settled in the place that has been her home nearly half of her life, and which has become one of the most pleasant and attractive places in Waterford.
