The Late Mrs. P. McClary

A gloom was cast over that community on Wednesday when it was learned that an old and highly respected resident of LaSalette for 25 years, Mrs. P. McClary, had died on Tuesday, 1 May 1917, at her late her late home in Burford, at the ripe old age of 81 years.

Mrs. McClary arose on Monday moring feeling in her usual health, but an hour after was stricken down and passed away at midnight.

She moved with her son John to Burford about two years ago, he being employed as section foreman there, and had been a mother to his five children since the death of his wife, six years ago.

Her husband predeceased her six years ago. She leaves three sons, Alex. of Woodstock, George of Elbow, Sask., and John of Burford, and one daughter, Mrs. D. Nickels of Detroit.

The funeral was held in LaSalette on Friday.
