Rickard-Knowles

The marriage of Nelles, eldest son of W. C. Rickard of Crampton, and Lennie, second daughter of Frank Knowles of Crampton, was solemnized Wednesday afternoon, 10 Oct 1917, by Rev. Harold Sutton, at the rectory, Dorchester Station.

The bride wore a becoming travelling suit of [n.....] brown, with brown and old gold hat to match, and was attended by Miss Gertrude Rowse, cousin of the groom. The groom was supported by Lawrence Knowles, brother of the bride.

After a honeymoon spent in Port Dover, with the bride's sister, Mrs. Guy Teeple, they will reside on the 6th concession of North Dorchester, near Harrietsville.
